  • The “heart” of the system is the modular SICAM A8000 remote terminal, which collects signals and communicates with dispatch centers.
  • Data transfer via IEC 60870-5-104 protocol through two independent communication channels.
  • Flexible SCADA system visualization with real-time display of operating modes, alarms, and switchgear positions.

Architectural highlights of power plant control system

The system is built on a modular principle. All field devices (relay protection terminals, measuring instruments, sensors) are connected to the central control cabinet via fiber optic lines and Ethernet. Built-in time synchronization over NTP is implemented using time servers such as the Meinberg LANTIME M150. The cabinet is also equipped with an LTE router providing independent internet access.
